Kids Fishing Day | Chattooga River Ranger District

The Chattooga River Ranger District will host a Kids Fishing Day at Tallulah River Campground. Open to youth ages 15 and under. Participants will have the opportunity to fish, enjoy lunch, and take part in activities including goodie bags and prizes. Participants should bring a fishing rod and bait. Restroom facilities available on site. Directions from Clayton: Take U.S. Highway 76 west for approximately 8 miles, turn right (north) onto Persimmon Road and continue for 5 miles, turn left (northwest) onto Forest Service Road 70 and travel approximately 1 mile to Tallulah River. Event supports outdoor recreation and stewardship of aquatic resources across the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest.

Junior Veterinarians Camp: STEM in Action!

Junior Veterinarians Camp: STEM in Action! is a week-long STEM summer camp for ages 10–14 offered at 59+ locations across the US (including AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MN, MO, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, DC, and online).
