A discovery packed week filled with experiments, hands-on STEM activities, and curiosity-driven learning. Campers explore chemistry, physics, and nature science through fun projects and demonstrations. Daily schedule includes two experiments, arts and crafts, and sports and games. Ages 3-12.

Young chemists will dive into the fascinating world of chemistry! Throughout the week, campers will conduct exciting experiments, learn about the periodic table, and discover the reactions that make up our everyday lives. Hands-on activities will spark their curiosity and inspire a love for science. Camp runs 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily.

A week-long science camp for children ages 6-7 featuring hands-on experiments, building activities, and exploration covering chemistry and physics. Campers will create their own mini scientific masterpieces. Camp runs Monday July 20 through Friday July 24, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Registration opens for Clay Center members on January 23 and to the public on February 2. The Clay Center provides light afternoon snacks; campers must bring bagged lunch daily or pre-purchase lunch during registration. Optional wrap care available 8am-9am and 4pm-5pm for additional fee. Daily schedule includes multiple activity blocks, gallery visits, lunch, snack time, and structured pick-up.

Join us as we partner with GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment), an international program that promotes scientific literacy and builds connections between people passionate about the environment. We will explore areas like College woods as we conduct experiments, collect data, and share with a global community of environmental scientists and scientists-to-be. Daily schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15AM-4:30PM. Campers required to bring own lunch. Weekly showcase on Friday at 4pm.

Lab-based science camp with hands-on experiments in physics, earth science, biology and chemistry. Activities include Physics in Motion, Mad Scientist experiments, Forensics, Electricity, and Rube Goldberg Competition. Ages 8-12.

Chocolate, marshmallows, chewing gum, cotton candy - these candy experiments will give you a serious sugar rush. Have some fun and play with your food while learning the science behind it. Just don't eat anything that was in a lab environment! Ages 8-11. 3 session camp running Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Room: 050. CEUs: 1.08.

For ages 10-14. Campers can expect to be immersed in information about creatures ranging from the very tiny to the largest fur-bearing animals in North Dakota. Campers will enjoy hikes, experiments and creature adaptations to learn what makes them unique. Camp runs August 2-6, 2026, beginning with check-in at 4 p.m. Central time and ending at 11 a.m. Central time. 4-H membership is NOT required for participation. Scholarships are available for income eligible families.

This camp celebrates art as a universal human expression, not one confined to a European lens. Each day spotlights a different region of the world, pairing traditional artistic practices with scientific exploration. Mornings focus on hands-on art projects inspired by cultural traditions. Afternoons build on those activities with scientific demonstrations or experiments tied to the same materials, techniques, geographic locations, or natural elements. Exploring activities like Shibori indigo dyeing and Alebrije-inspired papier-mâché, campers can look forward to getting messy with vibrant materials and experimenting like real scientists. They'll move between studio-style making and lively investigations, all while exploring cultures whose artistic innovations have shaped our world. Most importantly, students will experience the excitement of seeing the 'why' behind the art they create, unlocking the science hidden in every color, pattern, and texture. Daily schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., August 3-7, 2026.

Just Keep Swimming educational family night featuring ocean life stations, biology of sea creatures from Finding Dory movie, STEM experiment with whale blubber and cold water tolerance, art stations making sea creatures, and under-the-sea photo booth with oceanthemed dinner.

Hands-on and interactive STEM stations where elementary students and families explore science, technology, engineering and math experiments, activities, and games. Includes light meal and participation from multiple afterschool programs and organizations.
