In-Person: Next Chapter Book Club In-Person

The Next Chapter Book Club is a community-based book club that welcomes adolescents and adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities to read, learn, make friends & have fun. Anyone 16 & over can participate, no matter their reading level. Winter/Spring Session begins February 4 and runs through May 13. Meets weekly in-person at the library from 4:00-5:00 pm. This session will be reading from Tom Fish & Jillian Ober's 'Something's Brewing: short stories & plays for everyone'. Multiple meeting dates: March 4, 11, 18, 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; May 6, 13, 2026.

Join us at McGee Library every Thursday afternoon for Afternoon Adventures -- be part of the fun! Every Thursday afternoon in our 5th floor program room, we will host a variety of fun activities including board games, card games, video games, Legos, movies, crafts, and more. Monday Meetups: Video Gamers In-Person

Monday Meetups for ages 7-11 are all about fun and games. But they are also all about fostering social and emotional well-being in every participant. In every iteration, this program strives to empower each participant through cognitive challenges, positive social interaction, and active learning. Each meetup is planned with micro learning lessons, while still allowing for student choice to drive the direction of the day's activity in a fun, low pressure environment.
