The After School Program provides enrichment learning including physical activity and fitness, homework assistance, and STEAM-based activities in the areas of science, engineering, art, music, and more. The program operates from school dismissal until 5:30 PM Monday through Friday when school is in session, following the Orange County Schools Traditional Academic Calendar. Serves students enrolled at Central, Grady Brown, New Hope, Pathways, and River Park Elementary schools. Transportation from those schools to Central Recreation Center is provided via County-owned 15-passenger vans. Daily schedule includes physical activity, snack, homework help or quiet self-directed activity, theme/enrichment activity, and activity centers. Snack is provided. Priority registration given to returning students. No After School on OCS traditional calendar Teacher Workdays and School Holidays. Grades: Pre-K through 5th.
