Pokémon Party Super Science Sleepover Event at Maryland Science Center

Overnight event from Friday October 9 into Saturday October 10, 2026. Schedule: 5:30–7:30pm check-in (Constellation Learning Group Entrance on Key Highway side); 5:30–10pm open exploration and themed activities; 7:30pm planetarium show (outer space adventure, not part of daytime schedule); 9:00pm departure for non-overnight guests; 10:15pm lights out; 6:30am lights on; 7:00–8:00am light breakfast in the cafe; 8:15am IMAX; 9:00am final departure for overnight guests. Activities include: building and testing Pokéball launchers, exploring Ditto slime, creating an evolution kaleidocycle, battling and trading in a dedicated TCG arena, accessing a gym and multiple Pokéstops. Intended for families with children ages 5+. Younger siblings welcome but not permitted to sleep over. All attendees must purchase a ticket. Children must have an adult in their party — not a drop-off event.

2026 STEMPossible Symposium

The STEMPossible Symposium is an annual event organized by Tech United, a group of chief information officers and IT professionals from local enterprise companies committed to closing the digital divide and increasing STEM opportunities for students. The event is held at the Michigan Science Center. Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT. Tech United's focus areas include bridging the digital divide (donating decommissioned digital devices), developing STEM career pathways through site-based programming, and fundraising for youth opportunities. Over 3,500 devices have been distributed to students in Southeastern Michigan, and $153K+ was raised in 2025 for STEMPossible.

Dinos & Dice: Game Night at NHMU – November One-Shot

Night at the Museum meets Dungeons & Dragons at this unique after-hours experience at NHMU. Meet new friends, dive into character creation and world-building, and begin an epic adventure! All quests are created by local Game Masters of The Legendarium. Included with ticket: after-hours access to the Past Worlds exhibit, a set of dice sourced by the Legendarium, and a 'die'-nosaur dice holder (new design for Fall 2026/Spring 2027!). Open to adults 18+ only. Tables located in the galleries; snacks and drinks allowed in designated 'Tavern' areas on breaks. No alcohol permitted (University of Utah dry campus).
