The Tulsa Fire Department is partnering with Manna Air Delivery, an Ireland-based autonomous drone delivery company, to showcase how air delivery for emergency response looks in practice. The public presentation will demonstrate capabilities of drone delivery for emergency response, logistics, and daily life. Tulsa Fire Department already uses Drone as a First Responder (DFR) for specialty rescue and large-incident support. The event is on September 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM local time (23:00 UTC) at Tulsa Tech Lemley Memorial Campus. Space is limited; attendees must register online.

Recurring Saturday volunteer sessions from 9am to Noon (local time). Geeks for Kids is a program that builds adaptive ride-on cars for children with disabilities. The Star Shot series focuses on designing next generation vehicles. Volunteers with skills in CAD, engineering (design, mechanical, electrical, robotics), software development, graphic design, physical/occupational therapy, project management, and sewing are sought.

Free in-person robotics and STEM workshop for children ages 7-14, hosted by Moonpreneur. The workshop covers coding & debugging, hobby electronics and engineering, applying math in science and engineering, and 3D printing. Sessions available on September 17 (Thu), 18 (Fri), and 19 (Sat) in addition to the Grove City OH location on September 27 (Sunday) at 11:00 AM EDT. Week-long STEM day camp for students in grades 3–8. Camp runs daily 9:00 AM–3:30 PM (drop-off starting at 8:45 AM). Campers must bring their own lunch; S3 provides drinks and morning/afternoon snacks. Campers should bring refillable water bottles. Early drop-off or late pick-up incurs a $10 penalty payable before the next camp day. Do not pay unless children are accepted; pre-payment without authorization is non-refundable. Activities include outdoor exploration, engineering challenges, and art projects across four integrated learning studios: Studio Move (physics, energy, robotics, mechanics), Studio Life (ecosystems, health, agriculture, animal/plant care), Studio Build (construction, circuits, design, prototyping), and Studio Art (technical drawing, communication design, modeling). Camp is hosted in partnership with Mississippi State Coastal Research and Extension in Biloxi and funded by the National Academies Gulf Research Program. Research on curriculum effectiveness is being conducted by the Center for STEM Education. Bullying and unsafe behavior are not permitted. In the event of severe weather, the University of Southern Mississippi reserves the right to cancel; refunds are only issued if the entire session cannot take place.

The RI Explorer Program is an interactive club for boys and girls in grades 6-8 in Rhode Island to learn how submarines are made. The club meets once a month for 2-3 hours from October through June. Activities include welding, bending, pipefitting, and machining, along with educational tours of EB's Quonset Point facility. The program is part of the Narragansett Council Boy Scouts of America offered programs.

Manufacturing Day is an annual event hosted at Sinclair Community College that occurs on the first Friday of October. Attendees are given a brief introduction to the various manufacturing programs offered in the Science, Mathematics and Engineering division through interactive demonstrations and presentations. This year, the following areas will be highlighted: Biotechnology, Electronics & Robotics, Engineering University Transfer, Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology & HVAC-R. Event runs 8:00 am - 1:30 pm Eastern.

TCC Continuing Education's Fall 2026 After School Gaming & Coding series. Classes available include: YouTube Content Creators, Make Your First 3D Video Game, Young Investors and Entrepreneurs, Python Programmers, Roblox Club, Code Breakers, Minecraft Redstone Engineers, Roblox Makers, and Minecraft Modders. Classes meet for 4 weeks, 3 hours per week on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Some classes meet on Saturdays for 6 weeks. Programs begin October 3rd.

North Kansas City YMCA is partnering with the NKC High School Robotics team. Participants will work in teams to design a structure with specific guidelines focused on STEM objectives. Meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-7:30pm (CST) for 6 weeks beginning October 3. Program is designed for homeschoolers.

The John Deere FIRST LEGO League Challenge aims to enhance equity, diversity, and inclusion in STEM by supporting teams from underserved communities. Eligible teams must have a John Deere mentor and meet specific criteria related to student demographics. Grants will be awarded to teams that demonstrate commitment to community engagement and volunteerism.
