This camp is an enrichment program designed to help children build confidence, focus, coordination, self-discipline, and basic self-defense skills through age-appropriate martial arts training and structured movement. Each day, campers participate in guided karate and self-defense activities that improve balance, posture, listening skills, situational awareness, and emotional control, while learning respect, perseverance, and teamwork. No prior martial arts experience is required. Activities are adapted for different ages and abilities. A martial arts uniform is not required - campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing suitable for movement. On the final day, parents are invited to a Friday Demonstration where campers showcase what they have learned.

4-H summer camp program with STEM activities and educational components

Registration opens March 1, 2026. For ages 13-18. A hands-on camp introducing youth to high-demand skilled trade careers including carpentry, electricity, welding, small engines and others. Features professionals in skilled trade careers highlighting well-paying, in-demand jobs that don't require a four-year college degree. Camps begin with check-in at 4 p.m. Central time and end at 11 a.m. Central time. 4-H membership not required. Scholarships available for income eligible families.

All-day/night residential leadership camp running July 26–31, 2026. Open to rising 9th–12th grade students (graduating seniors included). The program is based on General Shelton's five cornerstones of values-based leadership: honesty, integrity, compassion, diversity, and social responsibility. Administered by NC Wesleyan College. Application deadline is June 15th.

A County Fair-style festival featuring judging of vegetables, eggs, and flowers; agricultural demonstrations; craft vendors; food vendors; live music; livestock shows; youth activities; and competitions including Battle of the Bands. The fair runs Friday 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM with livestock shows, food trucks, craft vendors and Battle of the Bands, and Saturday 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM with music headliner and all fair activities. The YMCA of Greensboro offers After School Care programs for youth in Kindergarten through Middle School across Guilford and Rockingham Counties. Programs run Monday–Friday, 2:30–6:00 PM on regular school days and early release days. All Day Care is available 7:30 AM–6:00 PM on teacher workdays and select holidays. Programming includes homework support, STEAM exploration, creative arts, character development, movement-based activities, and social-emotional learning. Locations: Hayes-Taylor Memorial YMCA, Ragsdale Family YMCA, Spears Family YMCA (Guilford County); Eden Family YMCA, Reidsville Family YMCA (Rockingham County). Monday Meetups for ages 7-11 are all about fun and games. But they are also all about fostering social and emotional well-being in every participant. In every iteration, this program strives to empower each participant through cognitive challenges, positive social interaction, and active learning. Each meetup is planned with micro learning lessons, while still allowing for student choice to drive the direction of the day's activity in a fun, low pressure environment. This program supports Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and PA Forward(R) Civic-Social Literacy.

AeroChapter is a school-year program for ages 12-16 running approximately October 1 through March 31. Emphasizes piloting and flying with a well-rounded curriculum covering all aspects of flight and airport operations. Includes ground school, one solo private pilot session, and three group flights with pre-flight safety checks, weather evaluation, route planning, and air traffic communications. Both flight time and ground school time are logged. Recommended for 16-year-olds pursuing a Private Pilot's license. Cadets are encouraged to purchase a pilot's logbook. This program is a continuation option for AeroCamp graduates.

The 2026 Bridge Conference will be held October 26-27, 2026 at the Tacoma Convention Center in Tacoma, WA. This follows the successful 2025 Bridge Conference with the theme 'Together We Rise' that featured workshops on trauma and mental health, designing inclusive and empowering programs, racial equity and justice, and self and collective care. The conference brings together youth development professionals and advocates from across Washington state.

Young student entrepreneurs showcase and sell their products including soaps, bath bombs, hand-carved woodwork, and food items. Designed for kid shoppers to find gifts for friends and family. Vendor registration also available for young entrepreneurs who want a booth. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Hot chocolate and coffee available for adults. Shoppers and vendors receive $10 off admission to the Speedway Christmas light show (Nov. 23 show only, limit 1 ticket per family). Accepts cash, card, Venmo, and PayPal.
