AeroChapter is a school-year program for ages 12-16 running approximately October 1 through March 31. Emphasizes piloting and flying with a well-rounded curriculum covering all aspects of flight and airport operations. Includes ground school, one solo private pilot session, and three group flights with pre-flight safety checks, weather evaluation, route planning, and air traffic communications. Both flight time and ground school time are logged. Recommended for 16-year-olds pursuing a Private Pilot's license. Cadets are encouraged to purchase a pilot's logbook. This program is a continuation option for AeroCamp graduates.
