Lacawac Sanctuary Foundation's Girls in STEM Symposium is a one day event designed to inspire and empower middle and high school girls (7th grade through 12th grade) to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The 2026 event will feature a stronger focus on hands-on activities, streamlined speaker schedule with more Q&A time, expanded vendor and scientist displays, informational tables closer to pavilion area for meeting STEM professionals during breaks, and programming designed to maximize student engagement and discovery through small-group interactions and instructor-led demos.

Lenovo's BLAST (Black Leaders Achieving Success in Technology) employee resource group hosted nearly 200 middle and high school students from the NC MSEN Pre-College Program for a day of tours, career conversations, and hands-on activities. Students came from Edgecombe County, Durham County, Halifax County, and Wake County Public Schools. Activities included touring Lenovo's Executive Briefing Center, learning about design thinking, educational boards, UX and accessibility, a STEAM rotation station, and hands-on work with microprocessors including connecting Arduino Pis to LED lights and laptops. The event was part of Lenovo's seventh Global Month of Service. Lenovo has donated over $40,000 to the MSEN program over three years.

NSU STEM Day runs from 8 a.m. to noon (CDT) on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Northwestern State University's main campus in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The event is designed for students in grades 9-12 interested in science, manufacturing technology, computer science, mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering, and STEM-related careers (e.g., medical doctor, veterinarian, dentist, pharmacist, data analyst, environmental scientist, crime lab scientist, hospital lab clinician, factory manager). Students will interact with STEM faculty and students through hands-on science and technology demonstrations across five different 'tours' of four workshops each, in fields including engineering and manufacturing, wildlife and environmental science, veterinary science, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, physics, biomedical science, and microbiology. Kids Building Minnesota 2026 is a free, interactive, and educational event for kids that celebrates the world of construction, engineering, and skilled trades. LATC Senior Tech Days are open to students in grade 12. Students sit in on classes, step into the labs, and talk directly with instructors and current students. They also connect with Admissions to walk through next steps, financial aid, scholarships, housing. Lunch is included and parents or guardians are welcome to join. Senior Tech Day at Lake Area Technical College, held at the Student Center from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is an event for high school seniors to explore programs and campus life at Lake Area Tech.

ACE Mentor Program of New Hampshire is a free after-school initiative for high school students. Students meet weekly from October through February (2:30–4:00 PM) with industry mentors from leading NH AEC firms to work on real-world design challenges. Activities include use of Revit software, field trips to active job sites, visits to Autodesk, and attendance at industry events. The program culminates in March with student team presentations to judges, government officials, and sponsors, with scholarships and trade school stipends awarded. Participating schools include Winnacunnet, Portsmouth High, and Manchester School of Technology. Student registration opens each September. Industry professionals from 70+ NH firms volunteer as mentors.

Academic Day designed for students interested in pursuing a pre-health pathway at ECU. Includes an Admissions Information Session and walking tour of Main Campus, followed by a pre-health focused session exploring academic pathways, opportunities, and resources for students preparing for professional school. VetAspire is a one-day program enabling a select group of high school and undergraduate students to spend a day at MSU CVM. Sessions begin at 8:00am and end at 4:00pm (13:00-21:00 UTC). Up to 10 students are selected per session. Participants experience key components of the veterinary medicine profession, different career avenues, veterinary curriculum and classroom instruction, hands-on learning in laboratory/field/clinic settings, and interaction with multiple species of animals. An excuse is provided to those who attend since the program takes place during school hours. Program is specifically for high school sophomores to college seniors who are educationally, economically and/or socially disadvantaged.

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) Construction Career Camps promote careers in the construction industry. Open to students in grades 9-12. From welding to operating heavy machinery, from carpentry to civil engineering, students attending will explore the construction industry and get a hands-on experience for different construction industry career opportunities. 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
