Junior Veterinarians Camp: STEM in Action! is a week-long STEM summer camp for ages 10–14 offered at 59+ locations across the US (including AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MN, MO, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, DC, and online). Camp runs 9am–3pm daily (Mon–Fri), with optional early arrival from 8am and extended day until 5:45pm. Includes physical exams, microscopy for parasites, small animal rehabilitation, necropsy gallery viewing, clinical skills labs, career panel discussions, and hospital tours including large animal areas. Requires secondary application after initial registration. Requirements: minimum age 16 by July 20, entering junior/senior year, B or better grades in science classes, demonstrated maturity and initiative.

5-day life sciences camp for students who will have graduated from 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. Topics include biochemistry, cosmic and planetary exploration, genetics & DNA extraction, geography, native plants & animals, research methods, and soil identification. Camp runs 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with hands-on experiments, inquiry-based activities, college/career exploration, games, and sports at Gregory Gym. Students receive support from instructors, UT student interns, and faculty.

For ages 10-14. Campers can expect to be immersed in information about creatures ranging from the very tiny to the largest fur-bearing animals in North Dakota. Campers will enjoy hikes, experiments and creature adaptations to learn what makes them unique. Camp runs August 2-6, 2026, beginning with check-in at 4 p.m. Central time and ending at 11 a.m. Central time. 4-H membership is NOT required for participation. Scholarships are available for income eligible families.
