Intensive week-long nutrition program for rising 10th-12th grade students combining laboratory research and culinary application. Students collect and analyze samples, extract DNA, analyze microbes, and participate in a Nutritional 'Chopped' challenge. Includes meetings with faculty, undergraduates, and professionals working on cutting-edge nutrition research including environmental toxins. Rotates between lab and kitchen activities daily.
