FIRST® LEGO® League announces the BIOGLOW™ season, releasing August 4, 2026. This will be the final season of the FIRST LEGO League program and includes two editions: Founders Edition and Future Edition. BIOGLOW is part of the FIRST® CANOPY™ season. The theme centers on biodiversity and ecosystems. Founders Edition: For FIRST LEGO League Explore (ages 6-10) and Challenge (ages 9-16, varies by country) teams using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ technology. Explore students focus on engineering fundamentals and hands-on problem solving using SPIKE™ Essential. Challenge students program a SPIKE™ Prime robot to autonomously complete missions in 2.5-minute matches and explore the biodiversity theme in the Innovation Project. Future Edition: For grades K-2/ages 5-7 and grades 3-8/ages 8-16 (ages vary by country). Teams use LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI kits, build and code wireless hardware, and compete in an alliance-based game. The Innovation Project explores biodiversity and the balance between nature and humans. The program operates in 110+ countries with 679,000+ participants and 3,700+ events globally. After School Care Program 2026-2027 - YMCA of Greensboro

After School Care at the YMCA of Greensboro for the 2026-2027 school year. Program serves youth in Kindergarten through Middle School. Locations: Hayes-Taylor Memorial YMCA, Ragsdale Family YMCA, Spears Family YMCA (Guilford County); Eden Family YMCA, Reidsville Family YMCA (Rockingham County). After School Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. All Day Care Hours: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. After School Program 2026-2027 School Year

The After School Program provides enrichment learning including physical activity and fitness, homework assistance, and STEAM-based activities in the areas of science, engineering, art, music, and more. The program operates from school dismissal until 5:30 PM Monday through Friday when school is in session, following the Orange County Schools Traditional Academic Calendar. Serves students enrolled at Central, Grady Brown, New Hope, Pathways, and River Park Elementary schools. Transportation from those schools to Central Recreation Center is provided via County-owned 15-passenger vans. Daily schedule includes physical activity, snack, homework help or quiet self-directed activity, theme/enrichment activity, and activity centers. Snack is provided.
