A week-long program for students grades 9-11 focused on advancing young women in engineering careers. Participants explore engineering through hands-on, project-based learning in two fields of their choice, including Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Electrical & Computer, Environmental, Geohazards, Mechanical, Materials Science & Engineering, and Robotics Engineering. All students may apply.

The Smith Summer Science and Engineering Program (SSEP) is designed for exceptional high school students with strong interests in science and engineering. Two sessions available: Session 1 (July 4-17, 2026) and Session 2 (July 19-August 1, 2026). Students participate in lab-based courses with Smith faculty in life and physical sciences and in engineering. Courses include Body in Motion, Designing Intelligent Robots, Truth in Advertising, Understanding Plant Biodiversity, Genetics, GIS, Chemistry of Light and Life, Digital Systems, Global Young Women's Health, Neuroscience, and Bacteriophage Discovery. Open to students entering 9th-12th grade. Residential program at Smith College.

Five-day intensive mathematics camp for female high school students (ages 15-17) in the greater Pittsburgh area. Daily schedule includes morning lectures by faculty, lunch, group projects supervised by graduate students, and afternoon activities including lab tours. Program culminates with student presentations and certificate ceremony. Continuation of successful 2024 and 2025 programs aimed at sparking interest in mathematics among female students.

Lacawac Sanctuary Foundation's Girls in STEM Symposium is a one day event designed to inspire and empower middle and high school girls (7th grade through 12th grade) to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The 2026 event will feature a stronger focus on hands-on activities, streamlined speaker schedule with more Q&A time, expanded vendor and scientist displays, informational tables closer to pavilion area for meeting STEM professionals during breaks, and programming designed to maximize student engagement and discovery through small-group interactions and instructor-led demos.

GETT (Girls Exploring Tomorrow's Technology) is an annual event for girls in grades 4-10 and their parents where they learn about career opportunities in a broad scope of STEM-related industries. The day is filled with exciting, enlightening, and experiential activities led by successful women in STEM fields. Explore hands-on interactive activities and discover new ways to connect your passions for science, technology, engineering, and math! GETT was founded in response to the underrepresentation of young women in STEM fields. Registration opens March 14, 2026. Pre-registration is required - no tickets will be sold at the door. Event duration: 4 hours (10 AM - 2 PM). Refunds available up to 7 days before event.

An inspiring event dedicated to honoring Nebraska's women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Hosted by Bio Nebraska and Nebraska Cures.

The Yinghsia Shih Li Memorial Scholarship honors Yinghsia Shih Li, who overcame humble beginnings in China and WWII to earn her undergraduate physics degree in Taiwan and Master's in Physics in the United States. This scholarship supports young female students with Yinghsia's determined nature and passion for STEM. Open to female high school seniors graduating from San Luis Obispo County, California with minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing STEM degrees (agricultural science, biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, environmental science, mathematics, or physics). Two applicants will be selected to earn $10,000 each per year. The scholarship is renewable.

The Oregon Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (ORAFS) offers this $2,000 scholarship to promote education and development of future fisheries professionals who are commonly underrepresented in the fisheries field, including people of color, women and other historically marginalized communities. Applicants must be current ORAFS members, reside in Oregon, and use their award at a college/university in Oregon. Application requires essay, letter of recommendation, and academic transcript.
