The Smith Summer Science and Engineering Program (SSEP) is designed for exceptional high school students with strong interests in science and engineering. Two sessions available: Session 1 (July 4-17, 2026) and Session 2 (July 19-August 1, 2026). Students participate in lab-based courses with Smith faculty in life and physical sciences and in engineering. Courses include Body in Motion, Designing Intelligent Robots, Truth in Advertising, Understanding Plant Biodiversity, Genetics, GIS, Chemistry of Light and Life, Digital Systems, Global Young Women's Health, Neuroscience, and Bacteriophage Discovery. Open to students entering 9th-12th grade. Residential program at Smith College.
