Yinghsia Shih Li Memorial Scholarship

The Yinghsia Shih Li Memorial Scholarship honors Yinghsia Shih Li, who overcame humble beginnings in China and WWII to earn her undergraduate physics degree in Taiwan and Master's in Physics in the United States. This scholarship supports young female students with Yinghsia's determined nature and passion for STEM. Open to female high school seniors graduating from San Luis Obispo County, California with minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing STEM degrees (agricultural science, biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, environmental science, mathematics, or physics). Two applicants will be selected to earn $10,000 each per year. The scholarship is renewable.
