Merit-based full scholarship at NC State. Eligibility requires minimum unweighted GPA of 3.8, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (or graduating from a U.S. high school), and applying for fall, first-year admission into a baccalaureate program at NC State. Includes enrichment grants for study abroad, research, and service.

The Lambeth Family Scholarship is available to high school seniors who are residents of Washington. Students planning to pursue postsecondary education in business, computer science/information technology, environmental studies, engineering, economics, forestry, natural sciences, or mathematics are encouraged to apply. Recipients are chosen for their academic strength, leadership, and participation in extracurricular and community activities. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0. The scholarship is renewable.

Eastman's Black History Oratorical Contest provides local high school students an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of Black and African American contributors to the academic disciplines of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). It also provides students with an opportunity to improve their writing, communication, public speaking and leadership skills.
