Imhotep Academy Investigates: The Science of Forensics

Imhotep Academy is a year-round middle school enrichment program (6th–8th grade) that introduces students to STEM with emphasis on expanding access for all students. STEM Day at SeaWorld San Diego - November 12, 2026

STEM Day at SeaWorld San Diego is designed for students in grades 1–12. Activities include: 'How Fast Can You Go?' (science of movement in water and marine animal locomotion), 'A Tail of Force' (physics of motion, force, and resistance with hands-on experiments), and 'What Big Teeth You Have!' (measuring and comparing shark teeth using mathematical formulas to estimate shark size). Stations are located at Wild Arctic Plaza and the Shark Encounter Pathway. Activities align with NGSS standards and are facilitated by SeaWorld educators. Three age-differentiated tracks: Grades 1–4 (Elementary), Grades 5–8 (Middle School), Grades 9–12 (High School).
