Preschool Recycled Art: Stained Glass Rocks

In this hands-on art class series, students will explore how to create beautiful works of art, using easy-to-find materials. Each session encourages curiosity, imagination, and teaches that art can be created with anything! We will be creating all manner of beautiful things out of items that might normally be thrown away. There are two consecutive 45-minute sessions of this class. The same class is offered twice to accommodate more children. Format: Step-by-step instruction. In celebration of spring ephemerals, this paper botanical workshop focuses on trilliums, which emerge in March and typically bloom through April. Trillium catesbaei (rosy wakerobin) and Trillium discolor (pale yellow trillium) will be featured.
