Kids Building Minnesota 2026 is a free, interactive, and educational event for kids that celebrates the world of construction, engineering, and skilled trades. The event runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (CT). Activities include: getting up close and riding in real construction equipment, hands-on building activities, interactive STEM and trade exhibits, build projects to take home, interacting with industry professionals, and family-friendly learning for kids ages 4-12. Kids Building Minnesota is a FREE, hands-on construction event for kids and families designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and interest in the construction industry. Kids will get the chance to explore real construction equipment, try interactive hands-on exhibits, and learn how things are built -- all in a fun, safe, and family-friendly environment. With numerous exhibits, live demonstrations, and industry professionals on hand, it's a full day of learning and excitement. Join us for rides in real construction equipment, hands-on building activities and games, interactive STEM and trade exhibits, face painting, bouncy house, food trucks, and more! The first 700 kids receive a construction goodie bag and hard hat! Event runs 9am-3pm CDT.

A 3-day learning experience exploring construction and hospitality/tourism industries in Penobscot County. Participants receive a $500 stipend. Space is limited. Businesses interested in participating should contact Morgen Leighton.

Annual fundraising breakfast for ACE Mentor Program of New Hampshire. Event runs 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM ET and features networking with NH's leading AEC (architecture, construction, engineering) professionals, student presentations, and program impact stories. Registration and payment handled through BirdEase with invoices emailed automatically. Multiple sponsorship tiers available. ACE NH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; sponsorships are tax-deductible.

ACE Mentor Program of New Hampshire is a free after-school initiative for high school students. Students meet weekly from October through February (2:30–4:00 PM) with industry mentors from leading NH AEC firms to work on real-world design challenges. Activities include use of Revit software, field trips to active job sites, visits to Autodesk, and attendance at industry events. The program culminates in March with student team presentations to judges, government officials, and sponsors, with scholarships and trade school stipends awarded. Participating schools include Winnacunnet, Portsmouth High, and Manchester School of Technology. Student registration opens each September. Industry professionals from 70+ NH firms volunteer as mentors.

10-week Electrical Lineworker Training Program designed to prepare students for careers as electrical linemen. Includes pole setting/climbing, installing equipment, electric theory, safety training, commercial driving, and CDL training. 400 hours total with 350 hours credited toward apprenticeship. Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm, Friday online work.

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) Construction Career Camps promote careers in the construction industry. Open to students in grades 9-12. From welding to operating heavy machinery, from carpentry to civil engineering, students attending will explore the construction industry and get a hands-on experience for different construction industry career opportunities. 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Virtual information session about ECU's Construction Management program. Learn how ECU prepares students for leadership careers in commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure construction through hands-on learning, industry partnerships, and internship opportunities. Also covers career pathways, transfer options, and what it takes to become a successful construction management professional.

The Nathaniel Ellis Cannady, Jr. Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors from designated counties in North Carolina. Selection is based on academic achievement, commendable character, and participation in extracurricular activities. Students who are seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, project management, or information technology on a full-time basis are welcome to apply. Requires minimum 3.0 GPA and top 30 percent class rank. Open to residents of Buncombe County, Haywood County, Henderson County, Madison County, McDowell County, Rutherford County, and Yancey County. Renewable scholarship.

Learn basic woodworking skills - how to measure, mark, and use tools safely. Start with raw materials and leave with a sense of accomplishment, pride, and a functional planter box! All materials, tools, and equipment are provided. Closed toe shoes are recommended. Registration opens on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 6:00pm.

Participants will explore careers in Electrical Utility, Electrical Trades, HVAC-R, and Construction. Students will tour the DMACC Trades Labs and talk to industry members through five interactive sessions. Transportation is the student's responsibility.

Tech Camp is an opportunity for students and instructors to visit the programs at Mitchell Technical College and explore 'next steps' in career clusters of interest. Camp options include: Ag & Transportation Camp, Business Camp, Construction Camp, Culinary Camp, Energy Camp, Engineering Camp, and Scrubs Camp. Activities include hearing from professionals who discuss their careers and hands-on career exploration activities. Event runs 8:30am–2:30pm local time.

The ACE Mentor Program of Colorado serves high school students who want to explore careers in architecture, construction, and engineering. The program meets two hours per week for 17 weeks (January–May), introducing participants to building industry professions by having them plan and design mock projects on real sites and work with professionals in the design and build industries. Sessions will be conducted both in-person and virtually. Students must register and complete paperwork; parents must sign authorization forms. ACE also offers college scholarships based on competition, application, and available funds. Volunteers are needed as lead mentors, mentors, recruitment coordinators, guest speakers, and committee members.
