TAG: Teen Advisory Group

Teens in grades 7 through 12 meet to enjoy a pizza lunch then work on projects to make the Library a better place. TAG members also get to give input on Library events for teens and tweens. Make your voice heard! Pizza lunch will be provided. Registration begins Saturday, February 7. Please enter grade, preference for cheese or pepperoni pizza, and any dietary restrictions in the comments field.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

Join us for a Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting. TAB members will help decorate the teen space, create book displays, share ideas for teen library programs, host library programs, listen to guest speakers & more. Snacks and sips will be provided. TAB is a group of teen volunteers who help the library and the community by implementing, promoting and advocating for teen library services in Montgomery County. The Teen Advisory Board will provide feedback on programs, assist librarians with planning and running events. For attending this event (which includes the TAB meeting, setting up and cleaning up for the program) you can receive 4 Student Service Learning Hours (SSL). All applicants must be between the ages of 13 and 18 (or in 8th grade through senior in high school) at time of application. Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD, Inc.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

Join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB), we need volunteers in grades 6-12 to help us with programming, promotion, material selection, craft cutting and preparation, and so much more! This is a recurring program that meets multiple times throughout the year. Additional dates include: May 18, June 1, June 15, July 6, August 3, August 17, September 21, October 5, October 19, November 2, November 16, December 7, and December 21, 2026.
