Students will learn about STEM and participate in an exciting challenge or experiment. This program is designed especially for students in grades K-5. The activities may be challenging for younger children. Space is limited and registration is required. Online registration opens two-weeks prior to event start time. Mother's Day at the Zoo

Celebrate Mom with the variety of Zoo mothers and their little wild ones. All moms will be celebrated during this special day whether they have toes, paws, hooves or claws. Enjoy music around every corner with the family as you learn more about how the animals raise their young at the Zoo. Grab a yummy snack from one of the stands around the facility or have a picnic in the grass. Parking is limited. Honolulu Zoo Society Summer Day Camps

Experience summer fun at the Honolulu Zoo Society's Summer Day Camps where children dive deep into the animal kingdom. Structured to foster knowledge and appreciation of wildlife, these camps provide engaging educational activities such as crafts, games, and direct interaction with bio-artifacts, all centered around weekly themes that meet national science curriculum standards. Camps are offered for three age brackets: Menehune ages 5-6, ʻImi Loa ages 7-9, and Koa ages 10-13. Southeastern Plant Symposium

A two-day symposium held every June geared towards horticulturists, home gardeners, plant industry professionals, and all plant nerds & plantaholics alike. Features prominent plant people from all over the world delivering presentations on innovations and introductions in horticulture.
