Southeastern Plant Symposium

A two-day symposium held every June geared towards horticulturists, home gardeners, plant industry professionals, and all plant nerds & plantaholics alike. Features prominent plant people from all over the world delivering presentations on innovations and introductions in horticulture. Includes plant breeders, plant explorers, designers, researchers, nurseryfolk, and other experts. Features a Rare Plant Auction with plants displayed throughout the event space. Alternates focus biennially between herbaceous plants in even-numbered years and woody plants in odd years. Includes dinner with presentation on day one. Zoo Music

Bring the family to Zoo Music during the summer to enjoy performances by national touring entertainment. Plan to spend an evening with wildlife, food, music and fun. Kids will have fun getting their faces painted. Adults with an ID can order a drink from the variety of bars at the Zoo.
