An evening program that provides extraordinary play opportunities into the twilight hours. The theme for tonight is Light wars. From Star Wars, kids will have the opportunity to create their light sabers and battle in the woods at night. We will also have s'mores over the fire, weather permitting. Location: Kauai Bible church Land (Not at the church itself). Timbernook play area is up Omao road, across the highway. You'll receive a map of drop off location a week before the camp. 100% Outdoor Experience - Rain or shine, the adventure continues! Get to know birds and their feathers! Investigate real feathers and nests, and go on a bird-watching adventure. There are two consecutive one-hour sessions of this class (10:00AM and 11:00AM). Designed for ages 2-5 with a parent or guardian. Siblings are welcome to accompany if included on the registration. Location: Please check in with the Gift Shop on arrival. Preschool may meet in indoor Classroom or outdoor Children's Garden Pavilion.

This program is for students to explore and get to know more about the world around them. Each month will be different and we look forward to seeing you. What to bring? Wild Kratts®: Ocean Adventure!, a brand-new temporary exhibit at the Clay Center, immerses young explorers in whole body explorations of ocean habitats and fascinating creatures. Using Wild Kratts technology and the powers of science and teamwork, visitors join the Wild Kratts team to solve problems, help animals, and foil villains' plans. The exhibit explores age-appropriate science concepts central to marine animals' lives through three main habitats: Seashore (tidal pool exploration, anemone crawling, lobster hunting), Shallow Sea (dolphin naming, shark cleaning station), and Deep Sea (dragonfish hunting in dark depths, ocean floor creatures). Recommended for children ages 3-9 with a tot spot for children under three. Produced by Minnesota Children's Museum in collaboration with Kratt Brothers Company. Presented locally by West Virginia Public Broadcasting, Encova Insurance, American Water Charitable Foundation, The Daywood Foundation, Inc., Bernard H. & Blanche E. Memorial Day weekend family camp at Camp Hancock Field Station. Arrival 4pm Friday May 22, 2026; Departure 12pm Monday May 25, 2026. Similar format to Labor Day camp with exploration activities, science education, and family programming.

The University of Texas Chemistry Camp focuses on sparking excitement about chemistry for students who will have graduated from 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade by Summer 2026. Students will explore concepts including atomic scale, chromatography, density, endothermic & exothermic reactions, experimental design, phase transitions, physical & chemical properties, polymers, and temperature & states of matter. Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily with hands-on activities, college/career exploration opportunities, games, and sports at Gregory Gym.

Prepare for the prehistoric, as we work to understand the roar-some world of dinosaurs. Campers will get hands-on STEM and creative experience, centered around all things dinosaurs. Both indoors and outdoors, with plenty of time to rest and recharge; we will enjoy snack time, story time, and tons of excitement. From dinosaur eggs to fossils, join us for a t-rexcellent week of learning and fun. Ages 3+ (must be toilet-trained). Camp runs 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with morning and after care available.

Week-long summer camps where campers explore the gardens for critters, cook up yummy recipes, solve mysteries, and create an art show inspired by the garden. Campers spend time learning, creating, exploring and playing in the gardens while growing their appreciation of nature. Multiple enrollment options available including half day morning, full day, and extended day programs.

Age: Entering 3rd - 5th grade. Partnership with ISU Extension and Dickinson County Nature Center. Combines magic, wonder, and learning about nature and science. Also offered July 8. Register Feb 16th at ISU Extension website.

Little explorers ages 4 to 5 will discover plants, animals, and tiny creatures all around them! Through hands-on activities, they'll learn basic biology while having fun and making discoveries. By the end of the week, they'll have a mini collection of nature adventures. Registration opens for Clay Center members on January 23 and to the public on February 2. The Clay Center will provide light afternoon snacks. Visit Camp Hancock for a weekend of exploration in the canyons of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Activities include geology, paleontology, and arid ecology hikes, plus programs on insects, reptiles, and astronomy. Family-style meals, packed lunches, and snacks included. Evening programs and campfires. Arrival 4pm Friday Sept 4, 2026; Departure 12pm Monday Sept 7, 2026. Various cabin sizes available (2-3, 2-6, 2-8 people). Registration opens February 10, 2026 at 10am.
