Spend afternoons during spring break at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. Events are planned every day from March 16 to 20 between 1 and 3 p.m. to keep kids learning and entertained during their school break. Each activity is based on a specific aspect of Will Rogers' extraordinary life, ranging from his time as a cowboy to his passion for aviation. Monday includes blacksmithing demonstrations, traditional dyeing, weave spinners, lacemakers, quilters and a rare behind-the-scenes tour. Tuesday is Cowboy Day. Wednesday is aviation day with flight simulator, astronaut exhibit, helicopter visit, and paper airplane contest. Thursday celebrates Route 66 with Cars movie screening and pinewood derby. Friday features the Mid-Afternoon Frolic Talent Show.
