NASA Day offers hands-on learning experiences engaging students in a variety of STEM concepts. Students can participate in STEM workshops with professionals from across the state and learn about the formation of Earth in a showing at the Caperton Planetarium and Theater. Event runs from 9AM to 1:30PM ET. Recommended for students in grades 6-8. Due to limited space, smaller groups under 50 students will be given first priority. Travel grants are available for those that need assistance.

SKIES OVER ARADYN is an event at Newton's Attic starting October 24 at 6:00 pm and ending October 25 at 1:00 pm. Newton's Attic is a 13,000 sq ft STEM facility near the Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, KY, featuring wood and metal working shops, 3D printing and electronics rooms, and computer labs. The event name suggests an astronomy or science-themed overnight experience (possibly a science-themed overnight lock-in, which Newton's Attic offers in its Messer Multi-Purpose Room).
