The PSAT exam will be held on Wednesday, October 07, 2026. Testing is open to any 9th or 10th grader. Students interested should fill out the form linked in the school news post.

Students in grades 3-8 and their parents or guardians are invited to the UC Clermont Math Festival. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Cincinnati Clermont campus.

Wentworth STEM Challenge: MATHQuest invites high-school sophomores and juniors (Grades 10 & 11) to put their math skills to the test in a fun and hands-on competition. Participants will tackle real-world math problems, connect with faculty, and explore STEM pathways at Wentworth. Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET. GETT (Girls Exploring Tomorrow's Technology) is an annual event for girls in grades 4-10 and their parents where they learn about career opportunities in a broad scope of STEM-related industries. The day is filled with exciting, enlightening, and experiential activities led by successful women in STEM fields. Explore hands-on interactive activities and discover new ways to connect your passions for science, technology, engineering, and math! GETT was founded in response to the underrepresentation of young women in STEM fields. Registration opens March 14, 2026. Pre-registration is required - no tickets will be sold at the door. Event duration: 4 hours (10 AM - 2 PM). Refunds available up to 7 days before event.

The APH Abacus Bee is an exciting math competition designed for students who are blind or low vision. Students can use their preferred format, including print, braille, UEB Math, or Nemeth Code to demonstrate their skills through mental math and abacus strategies. Practice your addition and subtraction skills with some fun rounds of Bingo! Students must be able to add and subtract into the hundreds. No calculators or outside help will be allowed, but scrap paper will be available to work out the problems. Wednesday, December 2, 5-6 pm. Recommended for students in grades 2-3. Registration is required. Sponsored by the Friends of Huntingdon Valley Library.
