Discover Accounting

A free high school program for rising or graduating seniors interested in accounting and business. Program includes meeting industry professionals, workplace tours, business problem-solving competition, campus life experience with residence hall stay, and a reception with parents/guardians. No prior coursework in accounting or business necessary. Attendance can help students qualify for additional accounting scholarships. Nominations due April 1, 2026.

Discover Actuarial Science

A free high school program for current sophomores and juniors who enjoy math, solving problems and helping people make good decisions. Participants will meet industry professionals, tour workplaces, compete to create solutions to business problems, experience campus life by staying in residence halls, and celebrate at a reception sponsored by the Nebraska Actuaries Club. Requirements include completing sophomore or junior year in spring 2026, completed Algebra II or teacher recommendation, and minimum 3.0 GPA. Nomination deadline is April 1, 2026.

STEM Exploration Camp - Science and Engineering

4-day camp exploring different engineering and science degrees. Each day students get mini presentations on two different STEM fields with hands-on activities. Sessions presented by faculty. Thursday afternoon includes parent reception at 1:00 PM with optional campus tour. Lunch provided for campers. Camp runs 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day (Monday-Thursday). Made possible by donations from Gary and Connie Grittner to inspire high school students to explore STEM careers.

First-Generation Business Summit 2026

A free, exclusive on-campus experience that will connect first-generation students with local business leaders, CSU faculty and first-generation college students. During this weeklong summit, participants will explore campus and enjoy meals in the student dining halls, get connected with a first-generation student mentor, tour local companies and engage with business leaders, participate in discussions and competitions, and get a feel for how the College of Business supports first-generation students. Applications open March 2 and close April 21.
