The Northwest Vintage Car and Motorcycle Museum will hold the 27th anniversary of the Heritage Auto Show in 2025 at Powerland Heritage Park! Registration starts at 7:30am and gates are open to the public at 9am. Event runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Recurring Saturday volunteer sessions from 9am to Noon (local time). Geeks for Kids is a program that builds adaptive ride-on cars for children with disabilities. The Star Shot series focuses on designing next generation vehicles. Session dates: September 26 2026, October 24 2026, November 28 2026, January 23 2027, February 27 2027, March 27 2027, April 24 2027. Volunteers with skills in CAD, engineering (design, mechanical, electrical, robotics), software development, graphic design, physical/occupational therapy, project management, and sewing are sought.

Manufacturing Day is an annual event hosted at Sinclair Community College that occurs on the first Friday of October. Attendees are given a brief introduction to the various manufacturing programs offered in the Science, Mathematics and Engineering division through interactive demonstrations and presentations. This year, the following areas will be highlighted: Biotechnology, Electronics & Robotics, Engineering University Transfer, Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology & HVAC-R. Event runs 8:00 am - 1:30 pm Eastern.

Campus Day is BYU-Idaho's signature recruitment event for high school students and their families. The day includes check-in (8:30–9:30 AM), a pre-show with dance groups, pep band, and dunk team (9:00–9:25 AM), an opening session (9:30–10:00 AM), a Department Fair (10:00–11:30 AM), campus tours every 15–30 minutes (11:00 AM–3:00 PM), a Student Living & Housing Fair (11:30 AM–3:00 PM), Financial Aid Breakout Sessions (12:00–1:00 PM), Department Tours including Mechanical Engineering, Nursing, Manufacturing Tech, Horticulture, and more (1:00–2:00 PM), application help (11:00 AM–3:00 PM), bowling at Strike Zone (11:00 AM–5:00 PM), a ropes course by appointment, and lunch via food voucher. Walk-in registration accepted on the day. Prospective students ages 13+ and admitted students should register separately.

Duration: 5 Days. Time: 4:15 PM - 5:25 PM (ET). Ages: 5-7 years. This program introduces students to the core principles of engineering through hands-on LEGO® building. Participants design and construct simple machines, moving contraptions, and mechanical structures while learning how gears, levers, pulleys, and other engineering concepts work. Students experiment with building techniques, test and refine their creations, and solve design challenges. Collaboration and teamwork are emphasized throughout.

Session runs 11/11/2026 - 12/09/2026, 7:00 pm - 7:50 pm (UTC: 01:00 - 01:50 next day). Ages 7-14. The Mechanical Engineering Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn and build projects based on mechanical engineering concepts. Models such as powered cars, cranes, and windmills are examples of engaging and dynamic activities based on the LEGO Education Simple & Powered Machines engineering curriculum.
