2026 KEYS Program

High school research internship program where students from across Arizona train in biotechnology, data science, and science communication. Interns work with University of Arizona mentors on active scientific projects that contribute to real research outcomes. About 60% of KEYS alumni choose to attend the University of Arizona and many continue STEM career tracks.

Sustainable Food and the Ocean

6-day overnight camp for students in grades 10-12 exploring the deep connections between food, health, and the environment. Activities include hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art food science lab studying fermented foods, microbiome health, chemistry of pickles and jams, and preparing protein-rich meat substitutes. Includes campus garden exploration, plant walks along the shore, boat tours of local oyster farms, visits to regenerative farms, and snacks prepared by RWU's nationally recognized chefs. Students will experience full campus amenities during their stay.
