Hands-on medical program for high school students offering realistic simulated medical emergencies in Harvard Medical School's state-of-the-art simulation labs. Students work with physicians, nurses, EMTs, pharmacists, and medical students. Activities include diagnosing and treating interactive patients, practicing clinical skills like suturing, IV insertion, intubation, birthing simulations, trauma care training, Stop the Bleed certification, and CPR/AED certification. MEDscienceLAB

MEDscienceLAB offers students interested in biotech, biology, or medicine inspiring, immersive, hands-on lab and clinical experience. Students learn what happens when tests 'go to the lab' and how research labs work to solve medical cases. Program includes DNA Extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and ELISA training. Students work in teams of 3 with fellow lab researchers to analyze tests, diagnose and treat diseases.
