Bring your creativity in this engineering maker program! We'll provide the materials, but it's up to you to create and build the structures that go along with the prompts. This sessions we will be designing and building a Leprechaun Trap using a variety of craft supplies such as toilet paper tubes, cardboard, paper chains, pipe cleaners, and more! Engineering and art from recycled materials is a great way to foster a child's creative expression and design thinking. This program encourages children to tackle problems through creative and innovative solutions. Children will also dive into the 6 processes of science they will observe, predict, question, test, retest and reflect on the materials, how best to use them, and if their solution works. Please only register the children participating in the program.

It's time for kids to enter the world of endless possibilities in apps! Throughout this action-packed week, Ninjas will embark on a journey to discover the secrets of app development using the super-cool MIT App Inventor. They'll experience the thrill of crafting apps from scratch, the satisfaction of navigating the tech-savvy interface like a pro, and the fun of testing creations on a variety of devices with the app emulator. For their grand finale, kids step into the app developer role and let their creativity take the lead. Using the dynamic design thinking process, they'll craft their very own custom app, bringing their unique visions to life. (Recommended for children ages 10-15). Camp Adventure is a Christian summer day camp for ages 3 to entering 8th grade, running from June 1 to July 24, 2026. Features multiple themed weeks including Carnival Camp, TV Camp, Gaming Camp, BUILD Camp, All-Star Camp, Studio Camp, and Creative Camp. Regular hours are 9:00 AM-4:00 PM for grades K5-8th and 9:00 AM-1:00 PM for ages 3-4. Extended care available. Activities include water slides, LEGO building, video games, arts and crafts, and weekly themed adventures. Registration opens January 28th for returning families and February 4th for new families.

In this Pixel Pages summer camp, youth will explore the exciting intersection of technology and publishing by creating their own byte-sized books on a topic they love. From brainstorming and designing digital layouts to transforming their creations into printed masterpieces, this camp combines creativity with tech skills. 4 sessions running Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Deep tech immersion experience for high school students exploring the intersection of biomedical engineering, computer science and clinical medicine. Students learn design thinking process while building AI-enabled surgical robots to solve complex medical problems. Program includes exposure to clinical medicine, biodesign process, and demo day with industry pitches. Multiple session dates available: June 8-12, June 22-26, June 29-July 2 (4-day), August 3-7, August 10-14.

Team up with fellow adventurers to design solutions to any problems you encounter on your quest. Join us as we explore this exciting summer camp for middle school students in Advanced Manufacturing! This summer camp is a four-day hands-on immersive STEM experience for students entering 6th and 7th (this fall) in advanced manufacturing and careers. Students will participate in a large group introduction followed by breakout sessions facilitated by GVSU staff, students, and industry professionals from around West Michigan. Sessions will include hands-on activities in CAD, 3-D Printing, Design Thinking, and Automation that will provide a glimpse into the future of the largest industry sector in Michigan. An introduction to careers in advanced manufacturing will engage students in learning about career pathways from industry professionals from West Michigan. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in off-site industry tours.
