MEDscienceLAB

MEDscienceLAB offers students interested in biotech, biology, or medicine inspiring, immersive, hands-on lab and clinical experience. Students learn what happens when tests 'go to the lab' and how research labs work to solve medical cases. Program includes DNA Extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and ELISA training. Students work in teams of 3 with fellow lab researchers to analyze tests, diagnose and treat diseases. Multiple sessions available: Session 2: June 15-18 (4-day), Session 4: June 29-July 2 (4-day), Session 9: August 3-7 (5-day), Session 10: August 10-14 (5-day), Session 11: August 17-21 (5-day). Must be at least 16 years old and in grades 9-12. Non-residential program.

Tech Trek at Stockton University

This one-week, residential, hands-on STEM camp for rising eighth-grade girls includes activities like programming robots, extracting DNA, formulating lip gloss in chemistry lab, visiting the Atlantic Ocean, FAA Technical Center, e-Sports Lab, and Pinelands Preserve. The program is designed to increase girls' self-confidence and interest in STEM fields through a female-led, inclusive, residential university setting. Educators can nominate 7th grade campers for this empowering STEM experience.
