MEDscienceLAB

MEDscienceLAB offers students interested in biotech, biology, or medicine inspiring, immersive, hands-on lab and clinical experience. Students learn what happens when tests 'go to the lab' and how research labs work to solve medical cases. Program includes DNA Extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and ELISA training. Students work in teams of 3 with fellow lab researchers to analyze tests, diagnose and treat diseases. Lab Science Investigations: Antimicrobial Resistance

A laboratory-based experience where students contribute to research on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) using the One Health approach. Students will become researchers working to understand AMR challenges, participate in laboratory techniques including microbiology plating, PCR, microscopy, and contribute to a global environmental surveillance project. The program includes seminars from world experts, lab explorations, and a capstone project. Students must be 16+ years old and have completed 1 year of high school biology.
