The 40th annual Small Farms Week will feature workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and the naming of the 2026 Small Farmers of the Year. Events will emphasize the crucial role of small-scale producers and their impact on communities since Small Farms Week began in 1985. The week will begin with a kickoff event in Granville County and include educational programs addressing building risk-ready farms, feeding children and families in need, and innovative livestock strategies. The Small Farmer of the Year Award program will expand to include winners from the East, West and Urban regions of the state, all honored at a dinner on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

A monthly virtual training for enrolled 4-H volunteers. This session focuses on 'Doing to Understanding: Applying Experiential Learning in 4-H Clubs'. The program is designed as a quick 'gather-learn-discuss' format covering various topics to help volunteers improve their strategy. Part of a monthly series meeting on the first Friday of each month from 12:00-12:30pm via Zoom, suitable for both experienced and new 4-H volunteers.

The Leadership Summit is an opportunity for the State Officer Candidates and the State Nominating Committee to meet and prepare for the interview process at the State FFA Convention. State Officer Candidates will walk through and experience first-hand the entire SOC interview process. Candidates will meet with the current and past State Officers, take part in leadership training and participate in mock interviews and receive real-time feedback to best prepare them for the full interview process in June. State Nominating Committee Members will learn about the importance of the nominating committee and their role in selecting the next State Officer team. Nom Com will learn how to use the rubrics, develop interview questions, and will score the State Officer Candidates applications.

Professional development training for middle and high school-level STEM and agricultural educators. Two-day training focusing on raptors and conservation, songbirds, gamebird and waterfowl management, non-traditional avian enterprises, markets, cultures, and includes a suture clinic with surgical techniques. Requires completion of Avian Academy I prior to registration. Participants cannot sign up for both Academy I and II in the same year.

The premier agricultural education and industry exposition featuring more than 100 educational sessions, 600 exhibits, comprehensive field crop demonstrations, career exploration fair, and immersive virtual reality videos of agricultural activities. Exhibitor applications are also being accepted for 2025.
