Biomedical Research Bootcamp (Grades 10-12)

A research-focused course at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus for high school students (grades 10-12). The program includes introduction to biomedical laboratory techniques, visits to cutting edge facilities, exploring the ethics of biomedical research, learning about research careers, meeting scientists, and developing scientific research proposals. Students will work with safety guidelines, experimental protocols, and lab notebooks. Scholarship support is available with applications due May 1, 2026. Program runs June 1-12, 9am-4pm daily. The Wilson College of Textiles Summer Textile Exploration Program (STEP) consists of four one-week sessions for rising high school seniors interested in learning about the textile industry, fashion, engineering, polymer science and business marketing.
