A field-based program for students grades 9-11 exploring geospatial engineering in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Students use advanced tools including drones, GPS, and surveying instruments to map wetlands, forests, and coastlines. Participants collect and analyze data, create maps, and learn how geospatial engineering protects wildlife habitats and guides sustainable development.

Week-long camps designed for rising 9th and 10th graders in rural Montana communities. Topics include maps for analysis and navigation, collecting and analyzing imagery from various sources, UAV piloting skills, remote sensing, basic electronics and circuitry for sensor development, and geospatial analysis tools. Students will learn about career pathways in geospatial science and engineering, particularly those connected to the Air Force and organizations offering employment in rural areas. Students are encouraged to relate camp skills to their interests in robotics, human performance, aviation, community needs like natural resources management and precision agriculture, and national topics like security, energy, and climate change.

Engage in select week-long STEAM Camps such as Makerspace, Drone Academy, Fine Arts, Robotics, and more. Ages 6-13.

The Drone and Robotics Summer Camp is for rising 8th-9th graders. Participants engage in hands-on activities, workshops, and team projects gaining practical skills in building and programming drones and robots. Camp curriculum covers drone operations, robotics engineering, cybersecurity for tech systems, and basics of programming and automation. Runs June 15-19, 2026, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. (EDT). Free with meals included.

Week-long STEM camp geared toward students interested in pursuing engineering-related studies in college or service academy. Built on steps that professionals encounter when working with clients to deliver installation and facilities-related products. Campers live, eat, and complete activities as squads of 10 under guidance of uniformed service member and two STEM professionals. Activities include building concrete beams, operating drones, using survey equipment, constructing and testing cardboard boats. For rising sophomores, juniors and seniors, must be at least 15 years old, U.S. citizen with 3.2 minimum GPA.

5-day hands-on science camp covering fossils, astronomy, forensics, drones, and zoology. Includes small personal drone, expert instruction, Creation Museum guided tour, camp T-shirt, educational materials, completion certificates, and 5-day parking pass. Daily programs run 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Open to ages 11-18. Lunch not provided but box lunches available for purchase. Cancellation policy: full refund less $50 fee if cancelled more than 6 weeks before camp date, no refund if less than 6 weeks. General admission to Creation Museum or Ark Encounter not included.

Full-day camp (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) for ages 8-12. Explores physics principles through flight, vehicles, and drone technology.

Learn the essentials of polymer 3D printing, designing in TinkerCAD, creating print-ready files, troubleshooting, and seeing how it drives real-world manufacturing. You will assemble and fly drones in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and gear up for a challenge at the end of camp! Activities include mastering basics of polymer 3D printing, going from idea to object design in TinkerCAD, learning how 3D printing powers real-world manufacturing, discovering how 3D printing is being utilized for modern small drone design, and flying and operating small drones. In partnership with Missouri S&T, this camp's curriculum has been created by For the Win Robotics, with generous financial support provided by America Makes.

Biweekly program where campers can power up with Renewable Energy, exploring solar, wind, water, and geothermal energy through hands-on experiments, fly drones with exciting aerial challenges (Grades 5-9), or create in Makerspace with projects like solar vehicles, bridges, and recycled inventions (K-4). All tracks include weekly field trips, including the Energy & Environmental Resource Center and ACUA. Space is limited. Program runs 9am - 4pm EST.

Students in grades 4-6 will build their own model city using recyclable materials and then bring it to life with real robots and drones! Campers will learn to code and drive robots as well as fly drones carrying out real world scenarios and situations. Along the way, students will work in teams, solve real-world challenges, and think like true engineers and innovators! July 13-16, 2026, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
