UNC Science Expo

One of the biggest science celebrations in the state featuring more than 100 booths with hands-on activities, games, science demonstrations, and behind-the-scenes lab tours. Part of the North Carolina Science Festival. Event runs rain or shine from 11 am to 4 pm. Includes main stage activities and food truck rodeo. Parking lot in front of Morehead will be closed during event.

Spring 2026 Careers in Science Investigations (CSI) Event @ HMSC

This spring, we will hold one in-person CSI (Career Day) event at Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC) in Newport, Oregon! The event will include connections with STEM professionals, hands-on activities, and behind-the-scenes tours of lab spaces at HMSC. Registration opens January 7th. Program fees are fully refundable if cancellation notification is sent by April 1st.
