Behind-the-scenes experience with sand tiger sharks and southern stingrays. Participants will hand feed a 5-foot southern stingray, help train and feed leopard sharks, and receive a special gift from one of the sharks. Multiple dates available throughout 2026. Minimum age 8+, participants under 16 must be accompanied by paying adult. Small set of stairs involved.

Zoodunnit? Campers will use their detective skills as they follow the trail to solve the mysteries of the animal kingdom. Work with the Director of the ZIA (Zoo Intelligence Agency) to follow clues, solve puzzles, and crack the case to earn your Zoo Detective Badge! Camp hours: 9 AM - 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

Behind-the-scenes experience with Binturong. Includes tour of food prep kitchen, meet the animal, possibly help with training, enrichment, or feeding. Minimum age 13+, participants under 16 must be accompanied by paying adult. Registration closes day before at noon.

Go behind the scenes on the Treetop Trail where you'll get up-close with some of Minnesota's smaller residents. The cast of critters may include a skunk, porcupine, snake, owl, hawk, and opossum. Learn how Zoo staff trains the animals and why the Land of 10,000 Lakes needs everyone to do their part. You may even get to help with feeding time, engage with enrichment, or see some training.
