Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the UGA Aquarium? You're in luck! Spend the afternoon exploring our exhibits before learning what it's like to care for our ambassador animals during tours led by aquarium staff.

Celebrate Mom with the variety of Zoo mothers and their little wild ones. All moms will be celebrated during this special day whether they have toes, paws, hooves or claws. Enjoy music around every corner with the family as you learn more about how the animals raise their young at the Zoo. Grab a yummy snack from one of the stands around the facility or have a picnic in the grass. Parking is limited. Glass containers, weapons, alcohol, tents, canopies, and sports equipment are prohibited. Pets are not allowed at the ABQ BioPark. Smoking and vaping are not permitted on City Property.

Behind-the-scenes experience with sand tiger sharks and southern stingrays. Participants will hand feed a 5-foot southern stingray, help train and feed leopard sharks, and receive a special gift from one of the sharks. Multiple dates available throughout 2026. For ages 8-18. Learn how to show and fit your livestock in preparation for your county fair or achievement day! Learn to groom, clip and show a variety of livestock. Participants will learn about proper ways of feeding and selecting competitive livestock projects. A showmanship contest will be held and awards will be given. We will test participants knowledge of livestock with quiz bowl activities. Campers are encouraged to bring their own animals (no rabbits or poultry). Camp runs from May 26-30, 2026, beginning with check-in at 4 p.m. Central time and ending at 11 a.m. Central time. Registration opens March 1, 2026. 4-H membership is NOT required for participation. Scholarships are available for income eligible families.

Help our animal care staff open the Llama Trek habitat for the day and find out what it takes to get our herd of llamas ready for the day. Meet the llamas behind the scenes then spend the day helping walk, feed, and taking silly selfies with this charismatic crew. Multiple dates available: June 7, 28; July 12, 26; August 9, 23, 2026. Meet at Bison Statue in main parking lot. Ages: All ages welcome; participants younger than 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Animal-focused summer camp for young animal lovers. Activities include learning special skills through workshops (pet CPR, animal careers, pet home ec, behavioral training), animal care education, guest speakers, meeting adoptable pets, creative and educational activities, and team-building workshops. Multiple age groups and session dates available. Includes camp materials and t-shirt. Optional aftercare available 3-5 PM for additional fee. Sessions run 9 AM - 3 PM. Age groups: 7-9, 10-12, and special intensive 13-15 bootcamp.

Five-day hands-on equine learning experience including horseback riding on riverside trails, horse care and ministry, horsemanship, and stable management principles. Residential camp with all food, lodging, and supplies included.

Week-long summer program for riders ages 12-16. Features two riding sessions per day, individual goal setting with staff, and concludes with a student show. Participants can bring their own horses or use university lesson horses. Program includes horse care instruction. Held at the Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center which features classrooms, viewing areas, 200' x 80' indoor arena, 50 stalls and two outdoor arenas. Transportation from Rochester International Airport available for additional charge if requested by June 14.
