Youth in STEM Conference

Youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Conferences are designed to allow young people in grades 7 through 12 to learn first-hand about careers in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology from accomplished professionals in STEM. Spots are limited to about 500 students, with a maximum of 50 students/school. School registration survey and liability forms required. Presenter and volunteer opportunities available.

Annual Wyoming Youth in STEM Conference happening May 19-20, 2026 at CWC in Riverton. Since 2004, Wyoming Youth in STEM has worked to inspire and educate young minds across the state through hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. UW Teton STEM Academy 2026

A week-long STEM camp for rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students from Wyoming. Application opens in February and is due April 10th. Students must submit a 1000-word essay addressing their interest in STEM, hopes for the experience, and responses to specific prompts about STEM fields. Also requires unofficial report card and two teacher recommendations. The camp also recruits teachers - interested educators should send resume, description of experience, and two references to Prof. Kobulnicky.
