Tech Camp is an opportunity for students and instructors to visit the programs at Mitchell Technical College and explore 'next steps' in career clusters of interest. Camp options include: Ag & Transportation Camp, Business Camp, Construction Camp, Culinary Camp, Energy Camp, Engineering Camp, and Scrubs Camp. The WI State KidWind Challenge is a hands-on renewable energy competition for students across Wisconsin. Top student teams from two Regional Wisconsin KidWind Challenges bring small-scale wind turbines or solar devices that they've designed to the State Challenge where they will be tested for power output. Teams also meet with a panel of expert judges to present their design process and demonstrate their contextual knowledge and tackle instant challenge activities.
