Kids in Action Conservation Projects

The Louisville Zoo, in partnership with LG&E and KU Foundation, invites families and individuals to join Kids in Action, an initiative for students in grades preschool to 12th grade. Part of the Zoo's Earth Month Celebration throughout April. Students design conservation projects in categories: AIR, EARTH, WATER, ANIMAL, and SERVICE. Projects must be registered by April 16 with project plan, timeline, inspiration, and photos. Winners announced at Earth Day Celebration on April 26, 2026.
