Stem-U-Late (STEM-ulate Your Mind Fun Day)
"STEM-ulate Your Mind Fun Day" is a 1-day event consisting of physical, fun, educational, and STEM activities for youth. STEM activities foster creativity and innovation, build social and teamwork skills, prepare youth for future careers, and build personal development and confidence. The event also addresses youth obesity in Arkansas by incorporating healthy physical activities. Youth will get their minds and bodies ready for the upcoming school year. Food, healthy snacks, and pamphlets on stimulating activities they can do at home will be provided. At the end of the event, every youth participant will receive a backpack filled with grade-specific school supplies and a savings account sponsored by Entergy. Event runs 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time.
