Boating for Beginners

Become a PA state-certified boat operator. The certificate earned is PA state authorized and is accepted in all states where required for the operation of powered vessels including personal watercraft (jet skis, etc.). Class will provide an introduction to boating; equipment, safety, emergencies and general regulatory information. This is the minimum eight-hour requirement for state certificate. America's Boating Course

America's Boating Course is offered by Americas Boating Club Valley Forge (Main Line Sail and Power Squadron). The ABC boating course is designed for the operators of power, sail, paddle, personal watercraft and fishing boats. The course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and recognized by the United States Coast Guard.
