A hands-on camp for youth ages 12-16 to build and test their own personal computer. Each camper will use surplus and new parts to build a fully functional PC including case, power supply, MATX motherboard, AMD CPU, DDR4 RAM, solid state drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor, and WiFi adapter. Campers take home their completed computer and gain knowledge of computer architecture and how components work together. Camp runs 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM for Week 1 (6/22-6/26). Note: Component prices may be affected by 2025 tariffs and current market conditions.

EPIC is designed to inspire the next generation of computing technology innovators by engaging young students in learning computational thinking skills, programming and AI fundamentals. Raspberry Pi Innovator: Explore the world of computer science through hands-on projects, where you'll collaborate with others and dive into electronics, sensors, and programmable devices. Learn to build hardware that senses and controls the world around you, bringing your ideas to life with Raspberry Pi. Prior programming experience is recommended, but not required. Each camper receives a complete Raspberry Pi 5 8GB RAM Starter Kit (valued at $175) to keep. Program runs Monday June 29 - Friday July 3, 2026, 8:30am-4:00pm. Registration opens February 12, 2026.

The program teaches computer architecture and how different components work together. Includes potential pricing impacts from tariffs and component shortages. Discounts available for multi-week enrollment and previous camp attendees.
