Young People's Concert

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra presents a wide array of imaginative and illustrative music in this year's Young People's Concert. Three performances available: 9:30 AM, 11:15 AM, and 1:15 PM. Guest conductor Peter Folliard guides students through the music using narration and an introduction to the instruments. This program is unique in that it is part of the Sioux Falls Public School System's curriculum. Registration deadline for financial aid is January 23, 2026. Monday Meetups: Video Gamers In-Person

Monday Meetups for ages 7-11 are all about fun and games. But they are also all about fostering social and emotional well-being in every participant. In every iteration, this program strives to empower each participant through cognitive challenges, positive social interaction, and active learning. Each meetup is planned with micro learning lessons, while still allowing for student choice to drive the direction of the day's activity in a fun, low pressure environment.
