Looking for something to do after school? Drop by the library's large meeting room every Tuesday afternoon for video games, board games, hanging out with friends, and snacks! Play multiplayer games on our old Wii, Playstation2, and more, or on our new Nintendo Switch, with the library's extensive game catalog to keep you entertained! Drop in any time during the program and stay the whole time or for just a few minutes. This program is intended only for tweens and teens in grades 6-12. Adults may drop their teens off or wait in the library during the duration of the program. Registration is not required but recommended if you'd like to be notified of any program changes or cancellations. Some games may be rated T for teens. Youth of all ages are invited to chill and connect, enjoy a free healthy meal, get homework help, join activities, relax with a movie, or jump into our Game Lab (ages 10+) featuring Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Wii Sports, Oculus VR, and NEX Playground. Drop in. No registration required. Food is first come, first served while supplies last. Food is provided through partnership with Feed Philly Now and Ava's Farm. In this hands-on drop-in session, you'll explore how simple circuits work by experimenting with opening and closing circuits to control the flow of electricity. Discover what makes a circuit complete--and what happens when it's not! Activities are open from 5:15-8:15pm; stay as long as you like! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
