Teens Go STEM

A free career exploration event for students in grades 9-12. Students will join medical and health sciences students and professionals for hands-on simulations and activities focused on health care skills, innovations in health care, critical issues impacting Iowa's health, pursuing a career in health care, and health literacy. ARISE Summer 2026 - Applied Research Innovations in Science and Engineering

ARISE is a free 10-week summer research program for rising high school juniors and seniors who are NYC residents attending NYC schools. The program combines foundational training with hands-on research experience in over 80 NYU research labs. Students receive safety training, college writing workshops, research skills development, and work with faculty on real-world projects. Program includes ~120 hours of lab experience, public speaking development, college application support, and concludes with presentations at NYU and the American Museum of Natural History.
