Holly River State Park will host this dinner event in the Cookhouse Restaurant. This is definitely the most unique, historic and coziest venue in all of West Virginia's State Park restaurants, so this event is not to be missed. J Camp Day Camp delivers a comprehensive summer experience for children aged 2 through 13. Campers enjoy diverse activities ranging from sports and swimming in a large outdoor pool with slides and a Splash Pad, to arts and STEM programs, theatrical classes, and culinary camps. The camp focuses on skill-building, social interaction, and leadership development through fun and engaging activities. Accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the State of Kansas, the camp operates full-time from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with additional early morning and late afternoon care options. Features state-of-the-art facilities including gyms, classrooms, sport fields, and water features. Summer sessions run weekly from early June to the end of July 2026.

A hands-on summer experience for children ages 5-14, taught by professional chefs. Each day focuses on a different food course with emphasis on nutrition, history, food science, flavor profiling and layering, and presentation. We have a professional chef and nutritionist teach campers about the importance of balanced diets. Weeks 1, 2, and 4: Groups available for ages 9-14. Week 3: Group available for ages 5-8.

For decades, the Bluestone Dining Room, located within the McKeever Lodge at Pipestem Resort State Park, has captivated guests with one of the most unique and sumptuous seafood buffets in the entire region. This highly anticipated monthly event is consistently scheduled for the first Friday of each month. The Seafood Buffet commences at 5 p.m., inviting you to "Come Hungry, Leave Happy." Due to its immense popularity, reservations are highly recommended.
