Build confidence and read one-on-one with a therapy dog! For kids ages 5-10 who have some ability to read aloud on their own. In person registration is required the day of the program. We have a limited number of available time slots. Readers can sign up for a time slot starting at 4:15 p.m. at the Information Desk. Each reader will have ten minutes to read one-on-one with the therapy dog. This program is in partnership with Pet Partners.

Camp Nakota is the weekly summer camp option for school age kids entering 1st-7th Grade. Weekly day camp focuses on fun, friendships & personal growth. Each day begins with a morning ceremony at the YMCA, followed by exciting field trips, park adventures & daily time at the Splash Center & Play Center. Gives kids a safe, engaging space to build skills, confidence & lasting friendships. Extended care available from 7:30-8am and 4-5:30pm.

Creative Discovery Camp is a fun, flexible summer experience for girls ages 5-12, designed to support creativity, confidence, and positive friendships. Through art, movement, hands-on activities, and imaginative play, girls build social skills and grow into their strongest, smartest, and boldest selves. Families can choose which weeks work best for their schedule. Girls are welcome to attend one week or multiple weeks, with no requirement to enroll in all six. Drop off: 8:30-9:00 AM, Pick up: 4:00-4:30 PM. June 1 - July 10, 2026.

In this camp, we'll discover what it means to become the best version of ourselves by recognizing our self-worth and unique talents. We'll learn how to evolve through life's transitions and choose friends who inspire and support us. Finally, we'll ignite our potential by finding ways to give back to the community and building strategies to overcome obstacles with confidence and courage. 4 sessions running Monday through Thursday, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Strahan Classroom 50. Parents must register using child's name and date of birth. Waiver required before first class.

A 6-day summer program designed for high school students who love to perform (acting, music, dance, art, speaking). Led by world-renowned instructors, the program focuses on building confidence and learning to perform fearlessly through daily performance activities, group discussions, and inspiring talks. Covers managing nerves, connecting with audience, and presenting your best self. No prior artistic experience required - beginners encouraged. Includes housing and meals on campus.

Do you perform regularly for your friends and families? Do you want to gain inside knowledge into the theatre? Come join Educational Theater Association Hall of Fame Inductee and Brownell Talbot Theatre Director Jennifer Morgan as you gain confidence while learning a mini production! This camp will conclude with a summer camp production of Moana Kids! All aspects of what makes a theatre production will be explored! The performance will take place during the day on July 17. For Grades 3-8. Disney's Moana Kids is presented through special arrangement with Musical Theatre International (MTI).

Leadership Academy is a dynamic two-week workshop in July that helps young women build the confidence and skills to step into leadership roles. Through interactive, hands-on experiences, participants strengthen communication, decision-making, and self-advocacy while preparing for success in school and beyond. Program includes interactive leadership development activities, communication and decision-making skill-building, confidence-building hands-on experiences, and personalized strategies for academic and career success. Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. July 13 - July 24, 2026.

Combines flag football with fun-filled drills and teamwork, plus cheer camp with spirited routines and confidence-building activities.

This camp is an enrichment program designed to help children build confidence, focus, coordination, self-discipline, and basic self-defense skills through age-appropriate martial arts training and structured movement. Each day, campers participate in guided karate and self-defense activities that improve balance, posture, listening skills, situational awareness, and emotional control, while learning respect, perseverance, and teamwork. No prior martial arts experience is required. Activities are adapted for different ages and abilities. A martial arts uniform is not required - campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing suitable for movement. On the final day, parents are invited to a Friday Demonstration where campers showcase what they have learned.
