Backstage Pass: Sea Otters

Join a sea otter trainer and get up-close to these charismatic otters while going behind the scenes of our award-winning Russia's Grizzly Coast exhibit. You will learn each of our otter's stories and get a behind the scenes tour of the sea otter building from the toy room to the kitchen. A highlight of this experience is your opportunity to feed an otter a special treat and get a few photos of you in action. During this behind-the-scenes tour, you will also get to tap into your creative side as you help the trainers set up a play session for the otters. Time: 12:45 p.m.-1:45 p.m. Additional dates: April 12, 2026; May 29, 2026; June 12, 2026; July 17, 2026; August 7, 2026. Ages: Minimum 8+ years old; participants younger than 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Maximum of 4 participants, smaller groups may be combined. Registration closes on the Friday a week before each program date at noon.

Barnyard Bonanza: A Phoenix Zoo Spring Festival

Spring has sprung and things are busy on the farm. It's time for planting and watching as the world comes to life around you. Join us for a celebration of spring and farm life with fun crafts, games and opportunities to learn from our very own Phoenix Zoo staff!
