Traditional Skiff Building Pre-College Program

This two-week course involves construction of an 11-foot Monhegan Island Skiff, a traditional wooden boat. Students will learn time-honored methods of craftsmanship and design, use hand tools like chisels and planes, develop joinery skills, and apply traditional building techniques.
