Topics include selection, nutrition, showmanship, fitting, reproduction, feeding, and disease control. Includes talks, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and door prizes. Bart Nelson Memorial Sheep Scholarship
The Bart Nelson Memorial Sheep Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors from Iowa, who have been involved in sheep projects or activities. Students planning to attend a community college, college, or university in Iowa are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who show a desire to remain active in the sheep industry after graduation. Expected to reopen in November 2026 with deadline in February 2027.
