2-Day Teacher Workshop March 17-18, 2026, held in Las Vegas. This FREE professional development opportunity is made possible by the Nevada Mining Association, its members, and partners. Designed for K-12 Nevada teachers, the workshop explores Earth science concepts, the importance of mined materials, and the vital role mining plays in our everyday lives. Science & Technology Festival Giant Expo

A FREE full-day science and technology expo featuring robotics demonstrations, live animals, giant fossils from Nevada, hands-on activities and experiments, interactive demonstrations including Star Wars-themed shows, Energy Smart theater show, off-axis trampoline show, and science experiments. Nevada Boys State is a week-long leadership conference for high school junior boys that provides hands-on experience with local and state government operations.
